For entry to the USA which has very complicated admissions procedures

Below is a very general guide only and you MUST take advice about
entry to the USA from your local American consulate, there is a list at
the end of this page.
A visa is required by all but the following:
- Nationals of countries under the Visa Waiver Pilot Program: EU countries
(except nationals of Greece, who do require a visa), Andorra, Australia,
Brunei, Iceland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, San
Marino, Singapore, Slovenia, Switzerland and Uruguay for stays no longer
than 90 days. You will be given the I-94W on the airplane before you land.
You must fill it out and hand it to immigration as you arrive.
- Transit passengers flying with airlines authorized to carry foreign
nationals in transit without a visa, provided they continue their journey
from the same airport within 8 hours and hold valid onward or return documentation
All visitors must carry a passport which usually has to be valid for
at least 6 months from date of departure except:
- Canadian nationals carrying proof of identity
- Nationals of UK or Canada with proof of residency in Bermuda or Canada
returning there from a visit to any of the Americas except Cuba.

- A nonrefundable US$45 application fee (The fees may vary, you can
also check with the consulate about the same)
- An application Form OF-156, completed and signed. Blank forms are available
without charge at all U.S. consular offices;
- A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity
date at least six months beyond the applicant's intended period of stay
in the United States.
- Two photographs 1 and 1/2 inches square (37x37 mm)
- Documents showing your income, property, assets.
- Letters from relatives or friends in the U.S. whom the applicant plans
to visit or confirmation of participation in a planned tour.
- Evidence which shows the purpose of the trip, intent to depart the United
States, and arrangements made to cover the costs of the trip may be provided.
- In case, you dont have ample money to show then letter of sponsorship
stating the evidendce that you will be provided support will be needed.
- You may also provide other evidence substantiating the trip's purpose
and specifying the nature of binding obligations, such as family ties
or employment, which would compel your return abroad.
