All visitors must carry a passport valid for at least 6 months

Time required to issue visa

You cannot make the application more than 3 months before you intend
to travel. Applications can take up to 3 weeks by post, less if made in
person.

Documents needed

1. Photocopy of the vital information pages of your valid passport (showing
Name, Birth Date, Passport Number, Expiration Date)
2. Russian Visa Application
Form, completed and signed.
3. 3 Passport-type photographs.
4. If Tour Group: Letter from tour company confirming itinerary and including
a copy of the confirmation from authorized Russian travel company which
shows the reference number and confirmation number for the visa.
5. If Individual Travel: Confirmation of hotel arrangements from authorized
Russian travel company, or directly from the Russian hotel, showing reference
number and confirmation number for the visa.
For student travel check with the school for additional requirements before
applying for your visa.
