Visa are required by the following nationalities:
- Nationals of Algeria, Bangladesh, China (PR), Costa Rica, Cuba, Guatemala,
Honduras, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, North Korea, Republic of Korea, Lebanon,
Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, holders of a Palestinian Authority passport,
Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Tunisia, Vietnam, Yemen and members of
the Sikh religion no matter what their nationality.
If you are a national of these countries you must also get a visa to
transfer through Ecuador if your transfer will take longer than 48 hours.
- All nationals who want to stay in Ecuador for between 3 and 6 months.
Stays of longer than 6 months are not permitted.
All visitors must carry a passport valid for at least 6 months, this
must be with them at all times and they must have proof of economic means
to support themselves during their stay. They must also have a valid onward
or return ticket.
