Do you need a visa?

 

Yes, every nationality is required to have a visa

All visitors must carry a passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of arrival if you have a visa for 3 months. A passport valid for least 9 months after the date of arrival if you have a 6 month multi-entry visa.

Time required to issue visa

 

If done in person then it can take a month. Postal applications take longer

Cost of the visa

  Varies depending on nationality and country you apply in. You must pay in cash.

Validity of visa

  Normally 3 months from the date of issue

Documents needed

 

- Completed application form available from your nearest consulate
- Valid passport with blank pages
- Fee (payable in cash)
- Sufficient funds for duration of stay
- 1 passport-size photograph
- Return airline ticket, travel information about itinerary and confirmation of hotel reservation in China.
- A stamped, self-addressed envelope for postal applications
