Do you need a visa?

 

Visas are required by all except the following:


Nationals of EU countries, Andorra, Antigua & Barbuda, Australia Bahamas, Barbados, Botswana, Brunei, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Dominica, Grenada, Hong Kong (SAR), Hungary, Iceland, Israel (people with blue passports), Japan Kiribati, Republic of Korea Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Namibia, Nauru, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent & the Grenadines, Samoa, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, Swaziland, Switzerland, Tuvalu, USA, Vanuatu, Vatican City and Zimbabwe

All visitors must carry a passport valid for at least 1 day beyond their intended departure date.

People who are not required to carry are passport:

- Canadians with a Canadian birth certificate, certificate of identity or a Canadian certificate of citizenship
- Permanent residents of the USA who possess a Green card

- US citizens who carry proof of citizenship (i.e. birth certificate, US naturalization documents)

1 week to 10 days

Cost of the visa

  Approx. 48 Euros for single entry visa
Approx. 95 Euros for multiple entries

Validity of visa

  Can be up to 6 months but the officer that checks the visa on entry to Canada will verify your departure date then make a decision as to when you can leave. If you don't have a departure date they will allow you a 3 month visa and you must leave the country before the final date mentioned on the visa.
