Do you need a visa?

Visas are required by all except:

1 - New Zealand nationals traveling on a New Zealand passport.
2 - Transit passengers continuing their journey onward within 8 hours and not leaving the transit lounge.

In all other circumstances a Visa is required. You can now get this electronic ETA visa on-line at the following site http://www.eta.immi.gov.au/ . On the site you can check that you are eligible to apply on-line, if you are not then there is a link to your country and specific information on how to go about applying in your country. Alternatively certain travel agents are also registered to issue visas.

All visitors must carry a passport valid for at least 6 months.
