Visas Argentina

Do you need a visa?

 

Everyone needs a visa except nationals of the following countries who can stay for up to 90 days without a visa:

EU countries, Andorra, Australia, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Liechtenstein, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, San Marino, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Switzerland, Turkey, Uruguay, USA, Vatican City, Venezuela and Yugoslavia.

The following countries nationals can stay for 30 days without a visa:
Hong Kong, Malaysia and Jamaica.

Also, passengers in-transit through the airport and holding a valid onward or return ticket who depart within 6 hours.

All visitors must carry a passport valid for at least 6 months except nationals of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay who, if they do not travel beyond these countries can use their national ID card.

  Approximately 26 Euros

Validity of visa

  90 days. This can be extended for some nationals.

Documents needed

 

Each embassy consulate section has different requirements but in general these will be needed:

Tourist visa:
- Passport
- Return ticket
- Application form
- 2 passport photos
- Fee - payable by cheque or postal order
- Letter from employer
