Exams TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)

Information on the exams
 

You need this world-recognised exam to enter into most American Universities. It will test your 'American English'. It is scored so that you get a total mark which determines your level and everyone takes the same test so you may get a high or low score. There are no separate exams for separate levels it is all one exam which you work through. To enter an American university a score of over 500 is needed.

Examination dates
 

It can be taken on a computer or paper so you take it when you are ready usually.

Examination costs
  A school will often charge this on top of the course price you pay. Check the details of the course carefully to see if it is an additional cost or includeed in the price of your course.

When you must sign up for the exam
  Approximately 1-8 weeks before the exam
